Entryways
An entryway is the centerpiece of a building and can be considered the keynote of its design. Distinguishing the primary entrance is an essential first step in planning a building. The various entryways should establish a hierarchy to communicate which door to approach. A successful entryway will be in harmony with the rest of the façade. The main entrance can be differentiated by making it more prominent, combining it with sidelights and transoms, and embellishing it with more elaborate detailing. At Historic Doors, we can work with architects to detail the entryway or directly with homeowners.
