Entryways

The door itself is only one element in the entryway to a building. A successful entryway conveys signals of approach by the use of porticos or columns. Primary and secondary entrances are distinguished by various uses of these elements as well as transoms and sidelights. We can build as much or as little of the entryway as you like.

At Historic Doors we can either work with architects to detail the entry or directly with homeowners. We have been building entryways and interior doors for over three decades, continually improving our process and construction.

For descriptions of entryway elements, go to the Glossary.
